The key event within the PRWSTC program is the Copa Coquí. A swim meet we hold among all the universities participating in the program. During the training period, we choose an appropriate date where the largest number of universities are participating.

It's a once of a kind event, where all universities and clubs can socialite and compete regardless of the division they participate in at the collegiate level.

In this event, we also invite Puerto Rican swimmers from local universities and swimming clubs, giving them the opportunity for our athletes to gain experience, and an opportunity to obtain scholarships to study at universities in the United States.

 

The last competition had the participation of over 475 swimmers, plus coaches, family members, judges, and volunteers, totaling around  550 people.

For the 2025-26 edition, we expect to have over 15 teams and over 500 swimmers.
